Did you know that your dog is a wolf?
Yes, although many breeds and canine specimens do not seem completely so, your dog is, in essence, a wolf. Scientifically, the dog is considered a species (Canis familiaris), but it is also considered a subspecies of the wolf (Canis lupus familiaris): it is a carnivorous mammal belonging to the canid family that despite having been domesticated over 10,000 years ago, it still retains a LOT of its more primitive instincts.
What is the INTEGRAL Method?

The INTEGRAL method created by the educator Adelle Pichardo is unique in the Dom. Rep. and consists of satisfying the integral needs of the dog... and then those of its human.

Unfortunately, when bringing the dog home, many humans forget the instinctive needs inherent to their species: to socialize, explore, sniff, hunt, play, walk, run, learn, work... even reaching a critical point of humanizing it, generating thus an emotional imbalance (insecurity, anxiety, depression, frustration) that are the cause of the development of harmful behaviors such as socialization deficiencies, disobedience, aggressiveness, phobias, fears, among others...
Our approach is INTEGRAL because we understand that if the dog is guaranteed the integrity of his species, his emotions will be in balance and consequently his behavior will be what is expected of a psychologically and physically healthy dog; a conduct that coexists in harmony with human needs.
Since 2012 we have been pioneers in integrating environmental enrichment into our dog training programs, thus giving priority to the release of their natural instincts and taking into account the specific motivations of each dog according to its type, breed and/or perronality, to while we implement the use of 100% friendly techniques and tools.

The INTEGRAL method includes an introduction to "Puzzle Toys", Dog Camps, Inter and intra-species Socialization, Canine Sports, Music Therapy, Aromatherapy and of course, Obedience with a lot of Positive Reinforcement, among other stimuli that are essential to optimize the balance of His emotions. We also promote and provide Early Stimulation in puppies.

She is the creator of the INTEGRAL Method and began her cynological career in 2010, establishing the first professional service of Professional Dog Walking in Santo Domingo. Since then she has pioneered other innovative concepts such as Dog Camps and education based on environmental enrichment through the Comprehensive Dog School. The Education and Training programs created by Adelle Pichardo and taught by her team of canine instructors are oriented not only to improve the behavior of the dog, but also to strengthen the emotional balance and the affective bond with hers. humans
